Entrants from around the world submitted their best pictures of wine to the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year 2016 competition. Robert Holmes was crowned this year’s winner for his atmospheric photo of barrels at Maysara winery in Oregon. His photo was displayed at a ceremony in London this week, as part of the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2016 competition.

Sophie Wren, brand manager for Chilean wine Errazuriz, said, ‘there were over 7,000 images and films entered into the awards internationally and the standard was phenomenal. Robert’s image stood out from the rest in this category, however, for its beautiful lighting and atmosphere, which takes you right into the picture.’
